Compensation:     $45,000 – $55,000 (Based on Education and Experience)

We are looking for a proven leader who possesses a growth mindset, positive and passionate entrepreneurial spirit, and takes an innovative approach to program development & education. Our next Education Director will lead our highly talented staff to reach their highest potential and will take SENT’s Education Programming into its next stage of growth and contribution to our community. We are seeking someone who knows how to develop high-performance teams that set and achieve strategic program objectives. Not only will our next leader have superb people-leadership skills, but s/he will also be a persuasive and passionate communicator and visionary who can bring others into the exciting work that SENT Topeka is engaging within our community through our educational programming. 

Our Education Director will work closely with our Executive Director to develop, implement, assess, and adapt educational programs to meet SENT’s strategic goals and initiatives. Additionally, we expect our next Education Director to champion our vision to the public through fostering collaborative partnerships and relationships with parents/families, School ISDs, volunteers, and like-minded organizations. 

Our Education director leads the education program staff and volunteers by providing the needed support, coaching, and resources for needed for program success.  As part of the Education Director’s people-leadership role, s/he will champion a SENT Topeka culture – fostering our core values and creating a positive, uplifting, safe, and productive work environment for the staff. Coaching, mentorship, and performance management are also a part of this role’s responsibilities as well as talent acquisition (recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding/training). 

Our Education Director will be responsible for creating an annual program budget, collaborate with Executive Director to secure adequate funding for programs, and ensure that the program staff follows sound bookkeeping and accounting practices. We expect that our next Education Director will provide regular and timely updates to the Executive Director regarding revenues and expenditures.
