SENT Inc., a 501 (c)3 nonprofit based out of the Capital City, announced in a press release on Aug. 6 that it will be pausing express care operations at its newly opened Southside Wellness Clinic. The pause will take effect as of Aug. 14.

The Southside Wellness Clinic opened in early 2025 at 455 SE Golf Park Blvd in Topeka. It is designed to give lower-income families access to healthcare.

Aimee Copp-Hasty with SENT Inc. said that, while operations are paused, the remaining community wellness services will continue without interruption. These services include massage therapy, chiropractic and pediatric occupational therapy. People can still find Cairn Health low-cost prescription medication, eyeglasses and free over-the-counter medications at the clinic
