TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – SENT Topeka announced some leadership moves on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024.
The organization’s founder, Jonathan Sublet, will step into the Executive Director role after serving as the Interim for the last 18 months. The transition will be effective on Nov. 1, 2024.
According to SENT Topeka, Sublet has also served as the Board Chairman.
“We are entering an era of unprecedented opportunity. I am honored to lead SENT into this next chapter, alongside Dr. (Beryl) New and Christine Caplinger. Together, we will work to ensure that every family in Southeast Topeka has access to the resources they need to thrive.”

With Sublet’s transition to a non-voting position, Dr. Beryl New will move into the Board Chair role. In addition, Christine Caplinger will step into the Vice Chair role.
“This leadership transition comes at a pivotal time for SENT, as the organization continues to grow in its ability to meet the complex needs of the Hi-Crest neighborhood and beyond. Dr. Beryl New and Christine Caplinger, both respected leaders within the community, bring a wealth of experience to their new roles as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board, respectively. Together with Sublet, they will steer SENT toward greater impact in the coming years.”
