The clinic is situated in the Hi-Crest neighborhood, located at 455 SE Golf Park Blvd., and offers a range of services ranging from basic medical care to maternal health programs and assistance navigating coverage programs like ACA and Medicaid.
Executive Director Johnathan Sublet says SENT is always trying to grow and bring essential services to people who haven’t traditionally had access to them.
“We have come so far and it really has connected the physical health and beyond that,” Sublet said. “It is just a phenomenal thing that has made us more holistic in our approach. Today we celebrate being able to serve even more families.”
Sublet says he hopes SENT’s development can serve as a model for other non-profits both in Kansas and around the country.
The Southside Wellness Clinic opened in early 2025. Leaders from the clinic stopped by Eye On Northeast Kansas later that year to discuss their approach to bridging gaps in people’s access to care.
