TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – It’s a tradition for many kids to dress up in costumes at Halloween.
But those costumes can cost money. A Topeka organization wants to make sure money isn’t an obstacle keeping children from joining the fun.
Tricia Sublet and Aimee Copp-Hasty from SENT Topeka visited Eye on NE Kansas to share information about their fifth-annual Halloween Costume Giveawy and Child Mental Wellness Fair.
SENT and several community partners are collecting Halloween costume donations through Sept. 30. Drop-off locations include:

📍 Hazel Hill Chocolate | 724 S Kansas Ave, Topeka, KS
📍 The Pink Karat | West Ridge Mall, Upper Level, 1801 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS
The Giveaway & Child Wellness Fair will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 10 at SENT Topeka, 455 SE Golf Park Blvd. Last year, they had more than 350 children receive costumes.
The Wellness Fair is a chance for children and their parents to find resources and learn practical tips.
