“I Found Trust Again” – James’ Story

For James, recovery began with a step toward connection. After struggling with substance use, he knew he couldn’t face the journey alone. That’s when he walked into a support group meeting—and kept showing up.

Through the powerful combination of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), and Celebrate Recovery, James found something he didn’t even realize he had lost: trust.

“Support groups have helped me so much. What I’ve gained is something you can’t put a price on. I’ve learned to trust others—and myself—again.”

One of the most meaningful moments in James’ journey was his baptism—a symbol of both spiritual renewal and the healing power of supportive community.

His encouragement to others?

“Joining a support group is a beautiful thing to start in your life. It can help more than you know.”

Support groups like AA, NA, and Celebrate Recovery offer more than just meetings—they offer hope, healing, and people who truly understand.
